Bio

As the founding editor of DailyCandy D.C. and DailyCandy Kids D.C., I have had the pleasure of meeting incredible people and promoting new and lots of independent businesses.  I have done work with print media like The Washington Post and with popular blogs like Apartment Therapy and Coco and Kelley.

In addition to journalism, I consult and lecture on parenting, kids, lifestyle, branding, fashion, travel, and food and work as an oral historian, conducting interviews for organizations like the Smithsonian Institution's Archives of American Art.

Happily, I get to volunteer with incredible local non-profits: first and foremost BabyLove DC and the DC Public Library Foundation. As a third generation Washingtonian, I've gotten to explore the city as deeply as one can imagine and work with people trying to make it as great as it can be.

Most importantly of all, I get to hang out with my fun husband, play and cuddle with our four small children, and when I can, run with our friendly and loyal dog. I'd be happy to chat about doing a project with you. You can reach me here.
